The secret to weight loss

And just like that, I found it guys. The ultimate secret to weight loss. It’s easier than you think and you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars for it. I’ve heard about intermittent fasting (IF) for a while now and I know a few of my friends have been doing them although not religiously. Then a few weeks ago, I heard it mentioned by Hermes The Cynic on Tik-Tok. He is an ardent follower of Dr Jason Fung’s IF method (#fungsters as they call themselves) so I got intrigued and researched more and in depth about the topic. That’s when I read two of Jason Fung’s book back to back, one of them available on YouTube in a two hours video.

The premise is simple. The main reason for obesity is insulin resistance. How does your body got insulin resistance? By consuming a lot of sugar in a very long time. And then you got overeating which explains itself. So to solve the obesity epidemic and lose weight for good - you fast. Wether it’s skipping breakfast and having an early dinner of fasting for 36 hours straight or doing it on intermittent days, take your pick. You’ve got to achieve calorie deficit which basically what every fitness trainer and weight-loss captain have been telling you.

In a nutshell you have to 1. Completely cut sugar from your diet (it’s okay to splurge once in a while but don’t make it a habit), 2. Do intermittent fasting, 3. Have three or two meals a day and cut the snacks in between and finally 4. Get enough sleep. I did all that for 5 weeks already and lost 5 kilos since. I can confirm that it works and if I can do it, so can you!
